Fiber Up! 9 Reasons Why It Is Vital For Your Health

There are plenty of research findings that show how fiber may have health boosting properties.

Here are 9 reasons to include fiber in your daily diet.

1.  Help control blood sugar.  Including soluble fiber may slow the breakdown of carbohydrates, as well as the absorption of sugar in your body.  This may help control blood sugar.

2.  Weight Loss.  Fiber helps you feel fuller longer, which may help with weight loss and weight management.

3.  Heart Health.  Research shows that people eating a high-fiber diet reduce their risk of heart disease by 40 percent.

4.  Stroke Risk.  Research shows that for every 7 grams of fiber you consume, your risk of stroke is reduced by 7 percent.

5.  Skin Health.  Fiber, especially psyllium husk, helps your body eliminate yeast and fungus.  Helping your body eliminate through the intestinal tract, instead of the skin, may help prevent breakouts.

6.  Hemorrhoids.  Fiber may help prevent hemorrhoids.

7.  IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.  Adding fiber to your diet may help relieve some of the symptoms of IBS.

8.  Diverticulitis.   A diet high in fiber, especially insoluble fiber, may reduce your risk of diverticulitis by up to 40 percent.

9.  Gallstones and Kidney Stones.  A diet high in fiber, because it helps your body regulate blood sugar, may reduce the risk of gallstones and kidney stones.

The most complete fiber supplement, containing both soluble and insoluble fiber, is FiberPro, which contains five different plant fibers in a flavorless, easily dissoluble powder, as well as prebiotics to help restore the balance of healthy bacteria in your gut. One of my favorite way of incorporating more fiber into my day is with the Fiber Snack bar, which contain 6 grams of fiber and come in 2 flavors, Peanut Chocolate Chew and  Honey Almond Crisp.  Fiber up today...your body will thank you!

3 Stages of Stress: Where Are You?

STRESS.  Most people know that stress is very harmful to our health.  But did you know that stress has 3 stages?

1.  Flight or Fight: the stage of stress that can save your life.  The body immediately transfers large amounts of oxygen and glucose to the brain, muscles, and heart which are the most responsible for the bodies response to stress.

2.  Resistance:  this stage helps the body recover from the heart pounding response to the flight or fight stage.  Cortisol and adrenaline, hormone energy sources,  are made available to the body to help reduce inflammation, and repair cell damage. This stage usually helps us get through most of life's stressful situations.

3.  Exhaustion:  if the body can not control the stress during the resistance stage, the body enters the exhaustion stage.  In our crazy, stressful society, this is where a lot of people continually find themselves.  During this stage, chronic stress can be extremely harmful as the extended exposure to stress keeps the cortisol and adrenaline levels elevated builds to harmful levels in the body. and has harmful effects on muscles, the immune system, the digestive system, and overall metabolism.

Do your body a favor, and combat stress by consuming Ionix Supreme daily.  Ionix Supreme provides protection from the consequences of chronic stress, promotes energy balance and stamina, and supports the immune system.  A shot of Ionix Supreme daily is designed to balance your body by combating the negative effects of physical, environmental, and life stress while energizing cells to support faster recovery.  A shot a day keeps the stress away!

Walk Your Way to Thin!

Most people know that walking is a good form of exercise, but did you realize that you can burn and extra 100 calories for every 2000 steps?  Seems a little too easy right?  Well  it works!  There are countless stories of women, and men, who walked their way to a healthy weight...and you can too!

Yes, you can get super excited to this solution to finally drop those extra unhealthy pounds, and be ready for that slimmer, sexier, healthier summer body!

Your first step in walking your way to thin is to buy a pedometer.  This will give you an idea of how many steps you are walking daily in your everyday life.  Once you have a baseline count, you can concentrate on increasing your steps.

If you are out of shape, start slow and work your way up to more steps daily.  The best schedule, after setting your baseline, is to add steps weekly to increase your activity level. Every week, or two, add another 1000 steps until you are at 10,000 or even 15,000 steps a day.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do I really need a step counter?  The answer is YES!  They make every extra bit of activity you do count.  When you can judge daily how many steps you walked, you have a better idea of what you have to do to increase your activity.

2.  Should I diet as well?  Once you see the results of burning an extra couple hundred calories a day does to your waistline, you will be more motivated to eat healthier.  When you understand that a small bag of peanut m&m's contains 220 calories, which equals 4000 steps, you will be more conscious of what you are putting in your mouth.

3.  Will I be hungrier?  You would think with the increase in exercise, that you would be hungry, but that is not the case.  Eating due to stress is a big factor in obesity.  Exercise reduces your stress level, and therefore you actually eat less.

4. What are other benefits?  Other benefits of walking include building lean muscle, which in turn increases your metabolism, and therefore burns more calories.

The benefits of walking are tremendous.  You can walk when it fits into your schedule. You can walk where you choose, whether that is at home, hiking, or just around the neighborhood.  And the most exciting is that walking is absolutely FREE.  You don't need a gym membership, or any fancy work out clothes.  You might try headphones, and music that gets you moving though!

Weight Loss with ACV?

Apple cider vinegar may help you lose weight, and here is why.  The acetic acid in Apple Cider Vinegar suppresses your appetite, which increases your metabolism, and reduces water retention. Scientists also explain that apple cider vinegar interferes with the body's digestion of starch, which means fewer calories enter the bloodstream.  The easiest way to incorporate ACV into your daily diet is by adding Natural Accelerator.  Natural Accelerator has multiple ingredients that have been shown to increase metabolism like cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and green tea!
