Many of us look in the mirror everyday and find ways to criticize our bodies. Do you hear yourself saying things like, "my stomach is too big" or "my thighs are too fat"? I understand that we have been raised in a critical world, surrounded by Sports Illustrated, and Victoria Secret models who are thin, beautiful, and built. But tomorrow morning, and every morning going forward, when you look at your self in the mirror, say to yourself, "I am beautiful", "I am perfect health", and "I am unlimited". When you tell yourself, and your body, that you love it right now, even though you are not where you want to be, think how much more you will love you will feel towards your body when you have reached your weight loss goal. And maybe along the way, even if you don't reach the weight loss goal you have set for yourself, you choose to let your body decide what weight is the most healthy for you. We all need love, and the first place to start is loving yourself, and the good news is that it has been shown that positive expectations are also associated with weight loss.
