The Pursuit of Happiness

Happy 4th of July!  As I was getting ready to celebrate this holiday, this sentence from the Declaration of Independence came to mind.

Read this quote a couple of times.  Really!  Do it!  Let the words sink into your soul.

What stands out to me is that ALL men are created equal, and that right is not given by our president, our representatives or senators, or anyone else in this world.  This right is given to us by our creator!  Do people even understand what that means anymore?

The other sentence that stands out for me that the rights of life, liberty, and the PURSUIT of happiness are rights that I have access to at ALL times.  Think about it. We have the right to life, the right to liberty, and the right to PURSUE happiness.  There is no guarantee on happiness, but we do have the freedom to pursue it.

Are you happy?  If not, why?

It is only a choice!

Walk Your Way to Thin!



Most people know that walking is a good form of exercise, but did you realize that you can burn and extra 100 calories for every 2000 steps?  Seems a little too easy right?  Well  it works!  There are countless stories of women, and men, who walked their way to a healthy weight...and you can too!
